SEWER MAIN PROJECTS
 
Planning & Approval
Project Application Complete project application and include one set of plans and plats.

Application Letter  
IDEM Application The District shall be copied all documents submitted to IDEM including application, list of affected persons.
IDEM Approval Submit to the District a copy of of the executed IDEM permit.
Pre-Construction Meeting Schedule a pre-construction meeting and provide three sets of paper plans, one digital set, a certificate of insurance, recorded plats and all plan review, inspection and interceptor fees due.
Construction & Inspection  
Set of Plans A set of plans marked "Released for Construction" shall be on-site for the duration of construction.
Testing of Sewers and Manholes All sanitary sewer improvements shall be tested in accordance with District and State standards.
Letter of Completion & Compliance After all testing and punch list items have been satisfied, the District will issue a Letter of Completion & Compliance allowing the project to move to the dedication phase.
As-Builts The District requires that one set of as-builts be sent to the inspecting engineer for review. Upon reviewer's acceptance of the as-built plans, all dedication submittals must be complete and sent to the CTRWD office. (Note: As-built review by the inspecting engineer is considered part of the 60 day dedication process.)
