  GIS MAPPING

Starting in 2008 the District will be re-mapping all sanitary sewer manholes in its service area. This is being done to ensure all manholes are accurately located and problem areas are identified. The District uses handheld GPS units like the one shown above to accurately pinpoint each sewer manhole location. If you have a sewer manhole or cleanout in your yard, be sure it is not covered with grass or dirt so that it can be easily accessed by District staff. Thank you for your assistance in keeping the sewer lines maintained.

Clay Township Regional Waste District is currently working on a GIS program that would allow the public to access our geographical information. We do have a limited amount of information on the Hamilton County's website. Just activate CTRWD's assets in the layer table on the left-hand side.
